Serviceman Bursaries – Toronto Appliances Service LTD
At the end of 2013, Canada’s largest appliance repair company announced that it would be cutting many jobs across North America. Canadian employees of SEARS were affected by this movement, which was fully implemented by 2014. Appliance Technical Institute of Canada in Mississauga will be stepping up to provide assistance to those being displaced by offering a $1500 bursary towards a diploma program of their choice.
Appliance Technical Institute of Canada recognizes the need for support among refugees arriving in Canada, and is stepping up to provide assistance to those who are considering post-secondary education. By offering a bursary that can be used towards a full-time diploma program at our Mississauga campus, we are helping to create a platform for refugees to rebuild their lives. A total of 20 bursaries will be available.
